Clayface – Review
It’s entirely thanks to horror writer/director extraordinaire Mike Flanagan and his vision for Clayface that we have a film featuring a relatively obscure character from DC, and a horror film no less. Was it worth taking the DCU in this direction for its next outing, risking it on a lesser-known character and a new genre for them (though horror has been doing exceedingly well in cinema of late), or should the horror of Clayface have remained in the dark?

Whalefall – Review
Having read the book, it was hard to imagine exactly how any filmmaker would bring such a visually incredible story to life, but then I remembered that filmmaking is magic (a science, really, but you know what I mean). Does Whalefall manage to follow through on its visual promise while also holding a compelling story, or is this one film likely to fall to the bottom of the ocean (box office) quite quickly?
